The method I saw on the STC official website is to back up the UV2.CDB or UV3.CDB file under the KEIL installation directory (in the folder UV2 or UV3), and then replace it with the CDB file of the same name provided by STC. This method is very simple, but the disadvantage is that when selecting devices, you can only choose STC microcontrollers, and the others are gone. This is very annoying. Later, I searched on the Internet and found that Shanghai Puxinda Electronics Co., Ltd. provided another method http://www.chipswinner.com/case/08591340574176.html. I have verified it under KEIL4. This method is feasible. The details are as follows:

1. Create a new directory "STC" folder under Keil/C51/INC, and copy all the header files of STC microcontrollers to the "STC" directory.

3. Rename the STC device database downloaded for keil to STC.CDB and copy it to the Keil/UV2 or UV3 or UV4 directory.

4. Open the TOOLS.ini file in the Keil folder.

5. Under [UV2], type CDB0="UV2\STC.CDB"("STC")

                     Or CDB0="UV3\STC.CDB"("STC")

                     Or CDB0="UV4\STC.CDB"("STC")

It needs to be in a separate line.

6. Save the TOOLS.ini file and the addition is complete.

7. Start Keil, open the Device page of Options for Target '...',
select "STC" in Database, and you can select the STC microcontroller without affecting the use of the original database. This is equivalent to adding another database file for device selection.
