  1. Hardware preparation: a computer, a programmer, an 89C51, an experimental board, a simulator, and other common tools. If you want to learn microcontrollers but are unwilling to make these investments, I advise you to give up, otherwise it may only dampen your enthusiasm for learning and waste your time. Fortunately, these investments are not much.

  Computer: If you can access the Internet, of course you have a computer.

 

  Programmer: Commercial programmers usually cost at least 500 or 600 yuan. But now many friends on the Internet provide information about programmers. If you have an expert around you, you might as well ask them to help you make one! It only costs a few dozen yuan. If you don't have this condition, I recommend you to use the 51 serial burner from Dingding Studio, which can read and write 40-pin 8-bit microcontrollers produced by WINBOND and ATMEL, such as w78e51, w78e52, w77e58, 89c51, 89c52, 80f51, 80f52, 87f51, 87f52, 89c2051, 89c1051, etc., and the price is cheap.

 

  Simulator: Commercialized ones usually cost thousands of dollars. I recommend one, the 51ST-32K series of electronic design tools. The idea is completely different from the traditional simulator. It uses a chip with online programmable (ISP), and provides a single-chip code and a PC software. You can directly display the variables to be output on the computer. When we program in TC or other languages, we often add a PRINT statement to the unclear places. After looking at the output, everything is clear. This simulator is based on this idea.   Experimental board: I will provide one. The circuit schematic and the printed circuit board are pressed together. It is a DOS version, which can be viewed by any software. It is matched with my textbook. It is very simple, with some LEDs, some buttons, and digital tubes. The characteristic is that it is a single-sided board, which is very convenient to make by yourself.

 

  2. Software preparation: Some commonly used software is necessary. For example, INTEL's 51 assembler, which is described in the teaching materials. Software simulator (very useful for digital calculation experiments or algorithm verification). I provide WeiFu's random software because I have a WeiFu simulator. The DOS version software is provided, which I think is more stable than the WINDOWS version. Others include PROTEL FOR DOS for drawing and HEXBIN2 (to convert HEX files into machine code files).
