On March 25, Intel and Arm recently signed a memorandum of understanding, confirming their cooperation on the "Emerging Enterprise Support Program." The program was originally announced at the Intel Foundry Direct Connect event in February.

According to the plan, the two parties will work together to support start-ups in developing Arm architecture SoCs based on Intel's 18A process technology.

Specifically, Intel and Arm will jointly support startups in IP and manufacturing, while providing financial assistance to promote innovation and growth of these companies. These startups will develop Arm architecture SoCs for various devices and servers, and Intel will manufacture them.

According to Intel's press release, the "Emerging Enterprise Support Program" is based on the cooperation agreement reached between Intel and Arm in April last year. According to the agreement, the two parties will assist design manufacturers in building Intel 18A process low-power SoCs.

“Intel Foundry and Arm share the belief that for technology to benefit everyone, the building blocks of innovation must be accessible to anyone,” said Stuart Pann, head of Intel’s foundry business. “Startups play a critical role in turning the huge promise of transformations like AI into reality. The Startup Support Program provides a path for new companies to realize their ideas using leading Arm-based SoCs and Intel Foundry’s global manufacturing capabilities.”
