element14 and Eaton join forces to provide advanced industrial automation solutions for Industry 4.0
element14 expands its product range to include new products for industrial automation and Industry 4.0
Shanghai, China, July 18, 2023 – Farnell, a global distributor of electronic components and solutions under Avnet, has further expanded its inventory of Eaton's product range, including automation, safety, motor applications, power management and energy solutions. Farnell focuses on industrial automation and ensures that engineers are always supplied with Eaton's advanced products to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Eaton is leading the transformation of the manufacturing industry with its Industry 4.0 technologies. Eaton's advanced automation products, analytics and artificial intelligence enable engineers to improve factory operations quickly and precisely.
Currently, element14 offers the following popular Eaton products:
easyE4 series programmable control relays offer a large number of inputs/outputs and support a wide operating voltage range. The interrupt function and powerful processor of the easyE4 series are ideal for industrial and building control applications, allowing for faster response during operation.
The easySoft programming software is intuitive with four programming languages (LD, EDP, FBD and ST as standard) and an integrated web server. The Ethernet interface and easyE4 display can be used in conjunction with mobile devices and HMIs, or with the XV-102 series touch screen HMI display for visualization purposes only. If required, the easyE4 remote touch display can be used as a plug-and-play display solution.
The push-in motor protection circuit breakers and contactors of the PKZ and DIL series offer system designers faster and more cost-effective assembly with a combination model that integrates screw and push-in connections in a single device. This allows the new devices to be easily integrated into traditional control panel designs. Even compared to tension spring terminals, push-in connections can significantly reduce assembly time by 50%. Push-in connection technology reduces wiring effort, improves quality, is easy to integrate and is durable.
“Eaton is a trusted supplier of industrial automation components,” said Eleanor Young, Category Director of Industrial at Farnell and element14 . “Our partnership with Eaton enriches our Industry 4.0 portfolio, giving our customers access to the latest and greatest automation products.”
Eaton's products enhance workplace safety, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Eaton and element14 recently shared insights on process optimization through innovative design and big data analytics in a podcast. The two sides discussed how companies can predict demand, make smarter decisions and improve efficiency.
