1. Design Description
The network-based guest room information and control system integrates intelligent lighting control, air conditioning control, service control and management functions. It has the characteristics of intelligence, networking and standardization. It combines scientific management ideas with advanced management methods to help hotel managers and service personnel at all levels to timely and accurately analyze and process the large amount of dynamic and complex data and information generated during the hotel operation, so that hotel management can truly move from experience management to scientific management.
The hotel guest room control system is based on a bus-type network system. The entire system includes two parts: computer network communication management software and intelligent guest room control hardware system equipment. It adopts mature TCP/IP communication protocol and large SQL Server (client/server mode) database to ensure the stability and reliability of the entire system.
2. System Wiring Solution
The bottom layer of the system directly adopts the standard TCP/IP communication transmission protocol. Each guest room controller has its own independent network address. The guest room controllers are connected in series with Category 5 network cables. All guest rooms can be connected to the network through the floor server, thus saving a lot of labor and material costs for separate wiring. The data of each floor is centralized and forwarded through the floor server, thus ensuring the integrity and stability of the system data.

3. Equipment in guest rooms
RTU-7600 intelligent guest room controller
All equipment in the guest room is controlled by the central unit, with an embedded 24MHz high-speed CPU. The powerful core provides rich functional support, card control - guests enter the room and insert the card, automatically turn on the corridor lights, and turn on the left and right bedside lights at 50% brightness. After the guest pulls out the card and leaves the room, the controlled lights and electrical appliances in the guest room are automatically turned off after a delay of 10-30 seconds (in summer, after the card is pulled out, the coil fan automatically runs at a low speed; in other seasons, after the card is pulled out, the coil fan automatically turns off):
A. Dimming circuit: 2-way 220V 3A, can adjust various resistive incandescent lamps or electronic low-voltage lamps except fluorescent lamps, stepless adjustment, and the light brightness is very uniform and soft
B. Control circuit: 32-way 220V 10A, can control various electrical appliances, lighting equipment, air conditioners and fans, overcurrent protection by fuse
C. Air conditioning control: with the fan thermostat, it can realize automatic temperature control of the guest room or manual control of high, medium and low speed of the coil fan,
D. Service system: Do not disturb, please clean up immediately, can be connected to the three-in-one sign of the do not disturb cleaning doorbell outside the door
E. Power master control function: Press the master control button or remove the card to turn off all controlled electrical appliances and lights in the room
F. Ethernet interface: Each control is assigned a fixed LAN IP address, which is convenient for remote download and maintenance upgrade
G. Anti-crash design: Built-in watchdog function, even if it crashes in a harsh electromagnetic interference environment, it can automatically reset and resume operation
H. Full plug-in design: Fully pluggable cable connection with the junction box, convenient for disassembly and maintenance
I. Powerful expansion function: The controller is connected to the networked electronic door lock, safe, identification card card insertion power supply, and bedside centralized controller.
Card power supply switch:
The system is designed with a power-saving key card control box to realize power-saving and energy-saving control of the bedside centralized control system of the guest room. After inserting the key card when checking in, the system automatically lights up the specified lamps and automatically starts the air conditioning system in different time periods according to the control program, which can realize the functional requirements of the engineering design. After taking out the key card when leaving, all the specified lamps will be automatically cut off after a delay, and the air conditioner will automatically start to enter the empty room to maintain the temperature working state.
Fan thermostat:
Guest room fan coil adjustment switch panel: Luminous segment digital tube temperature display, light touch button adjustment, simple and practical, wall 86 box installation.
Electronic door lock:
Network type, select and use according to user needs.
IV. System function
The above technical solutions and hardware equipment can fully meet the functional requirements of star hotel guest rooms in China:
(1) Each room is equipped with an intelligent network control host, and all controlled electrical appliances and lights in the guest room are controlled by the control host. The control principle is weak current to control strong current, and all panel switch inputs are DC12V DC voltage
(2) The control host can connect various lights (incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, dimming lamps), fans and other controlled electrical equipment, and the lights can be set to dual control or multi-control mode
(3) The control method uses a large wall rocker switch and a scene touch switch.
(4) The three-in-one sign for cleaning outside the door, do not disturb, and doorbell button is convenient for displaying service status
(5) The corridor is equipped with an intelligent recognition power-saving switch. When the guest enters the room and inserts the card, the designated light will be automatically turned on.
(6) The wall temperature control switch controls the indoor temperature and coil fan. After the guest leaves the room, it will automatically enter a low-speed energy-saving state. The hotel front desk can set the room temperature in advance when the guest checks in.
(7) Infrared probes can be installed in the guest room to automatically turn on the corresponding lights after sensing the human body.
(8) The electronic safe can be managed through the Internet and the password can be freely set.
(10) The control host has an Ethernet interface and an independent IP address. All guest rooms are connected to the Internet through the floor router. Any changes in the room status will be sent to the database computer to achieve real-time management of hotel room services.
(11) System information and room data are stored in the server SQL Server database. The database adopts C/S mode.
(12) The front desk, guest room, engineering and other departments set up computers as needed to manage and monitor the room status.
V. System software part-room service real-time information management software system
The hotel room computer real-time information management software provides a software interface for centralized management of hotel room status and information. It can be used through Ethernet TCP/IP protocol in the form of Client /Server (client/server) mode accesses the server database, and dynamically displays the room status in various intuitive interactive ways, thus facilitating monitoring and control. The server operating system can adapt to a variety of platforms (UNIX, LINUS, WINDOWS NT4.0, WINDOWS 2000 SERVER), and the client software (computers in the front desk, floors, guest rooms, engineering, managers and other departments) can be applied to simplified Chinese WINDOWS 98, 2000, XP and other platforms, with a graphical interface, intuitive image, easy to use and simple operation.

6. Interface with hotel management software
The room service computer real-time management system is relatively independent. The system has standard hardware and software interfaces. The database uses standard structured query SQL language, which can easily exchange data with other hotel standard equipment and hotel management software such as FIDELIO. The software platform and database can also be established according to the requirements of the hotel management system and one-card system.
