Bourns launches automotive-grade thin film chip resistors that meet AEC-Q200 standards.
Provides higher resistance tolerance accuracy and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR)
Bourns® CRT-A Series meets the growing demand for small, high precision resistors in applications such as automotive, cell phones, SD cards, DDR memory, and camera modules.
Bourns® CRT-A Series
August 22, 2024 - Bourns, a world-renowned leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, has launched a new series of automotive-grade thin-film chip resistors that meet the AEC-Q200 standard . Bourns® CRT-A series offers higher resistance tolerance accuracy and temperature coefficient (TCR) than traditional through-hole resistors. This series not only enhances signal quality, but also uses surface mount packaging (SMD). These compact and high-power rated resistors are becoming increasingly popular in space-constrained applications such as mobile phones, SD cards, DDR memory modules, and camera modules. Bourns® CRT-A series resistors are designed in accordance with automotive-grade standards and are also very suitable for resistor solutions in various automotive applications.
The latest series of thin film resistors are available in 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 package sizes, support low tolerances from 0.1% to 1%, and have a wide temperature coefficient (TCR) range of ±50 PPM/°C to ±10 PPM/°C. In addition, the series ranges from 10 Ω to 1M Ω with TCR as low as ±10 PPM/°C.
Bourns® CRT-A Series is now available and is fully RoHS* compliant and sulfur resistant.
