Bourns Launches Five Series of High Current Rated, Very Low DC Resistance Shielded Power Bead Inductors
Bourns® SPB Inductors are designed to improve efficiency and reduce power losses in multi-phase integrated applications
November 3, 2022 - Bourns, a world-renowned leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, has launched five new shielded power bead inductor series with high rated current, ferrite-based shielding structure and extremely low DC resistance, with inductance values ranging from 72nH to 440nH. Bourns® SPB0705, SPB1005, SPB1007, SPB1012 and SPB1308 series are designed to meet the needs of various multi-phase integrated applications to improve efficiency, low magnetic field radiation and reduce power loss.
The new five-in-one power inductor series offers multiple SMD packages (6.7 x 6.5 to 13.5 x 13 mm) and advanced features, making them excellent power conversion solutions for applications such as voltage regulator modules (VRMs), power processors, memory modules, high-current ASICs, servers, storage, data centers, network systems and graphics cards.
The new Bourns® model SPB0705, SPB1005, SPB1007, SPB1012 and SPB1308 inductor series are now available and are all RoHS* compliant and halogen-free**.
*RoHS Directive 2015/863 of 31 March 2015 and Annexes.
**Bourns products qualify as “halogen-free” if (a) the bromine content is 900 ppm or less, (b) the chlorine content is 900 ppm or less, and (c) the sum of the bromine and chlorine content is 1500 ppm or less.
