WALTHAM, Mass. — April 8, 2022 — C&K Switches, an affiliated portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., is pleased to announce that it will be acquired by Littelfuse, Inc., an industrial technology manufacturing company committed to creating a sustainable, connected and safer world, for an enterprise value of $540 million.


Founded in 1928, C&K has been at the forefront of the development of electromechanical switch technology. The company is a leading global supplier of critical, highly engineered electromechanical switch and interconnect technology solutions for essential applications in industrial, transportation, aerospace, data communications products and other industries. Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, the company has operations in France, Germany, China, India and Vietnam, with annual sales exceeding $200 million.


“C&K and Littelfuse share a common vision and have nearly 100 years of experience in the design and manufacture of high-performance products,” said Lars Brickenkamp, ​​CEO of C&K. “Our two companies share many common customers, applications and focus markets, with a high degree of market and cultural affinity that will enable C&K to continue to serve existing customers and quickly add new customers with competitive, market-leading solutions.”


The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022.
