TLSM Series SPDT Tact Switches Offer Space Savings and High Reliability
WALTHAM, Mass. — May 20, 2021 — C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-quality electromechanical switches, has developed a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) tact switch for the elevator buttons, game controllers, and industrial markets. The TLSM Series SPDT tact switch combines high performance with a compact design measuring only 6.0 mm x 6.1 mm.
The TLSM series switch measures only 6.0 mm x 6.1 mm x 3.45 mm and features a soft actuator, which allows it to be only 3.45 mm above the printed circuit board (PCB), saving significant space on the PCB and user systems. This ultra-thin switch has a long service life of up to 3 million times and is commonly used in applications such as elevator buttons, game controllers, industrial, and accessories.
Compared with traditional miniature tact switches, the top-actuated TLSM series switches are more reliable and can be operated instantly. The surface mount tact switches fully integrate the standard reflow soldering process, saving time and cost for manufacturers.
