  The function of the step-down switching regulator LT1074 is to convert unstable DC into stable DC through step-down, rectification and smoothing. Its output current is about 5A. When overloaded, the current limiting circuit is activated, and the output voltage can be adjusted by an external resistor. The input voltage range of LT1074 is relatively wide. The standard LT1074 is 8V≤Vi≤40Vo, and the output voltage Vo can be adjusted within the range of 2.5V≤Vo≤30V.

  The pin definition of LT1074 is shown in Figure 4.

  According to the typical application circuit, the test schematic diagram of LT1074-5 usability test is recommended, as shown in Figure 5.

  Connect the circuit as described above, give an input voltage of 10 to 40V at the input end, give a load of 5A at the output end, and detect a voltage of about 5V.
