In the hot summer, not only do people need to take measures to prevent heatstroke, but LED displays, as the most popular outdoor display device, also need to be cooled down to work properly. So, how should we choose heat dissipation equipment for LED displays?
Since LED display screens are installed in different regions, with different sizes and installation methods, the equipment selected should be based on the actual situation. Here are some common heat dissipation solutions for reference:
1. LED display within 20 square meters
1. For areas north of Guangdong Province, it is recommended not to use air conditioning for LED displays within 20 square meters. If conditions permit, two small fans are sufficient.
2. In some southern cities: Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Wuhan, Chongqing and other places, it is completely sufficient to install two fans. The diameter of the fan can be about 500mm, depending on the size of the installation space.
2. Display screens with an area of more than 20 square meters
1. If your display screen is installed against the wall, it depends on how much the display screen can protrude. If it can protrude one meter from the wall, it is recommended to select a fan according to the size of the area. The fan installation position is arranged in sequence above the side of the screen. If the display screen you buy is an 80-square-meter ph16 outdoor LED full-color screen, it means that you need to buy 6 axial flow fans with a diameter of about 600mm. The fan is the kind that draws air to the outside, and when installing the fan, make sure there is a net inside to prevent the technicians who are repairing the display screen from sucking in clothes or other things when repairing the display screen and causing personal injury. In order to prevent waterproofing, aluminum alloy shutters should be installed on the fan outlet on the outer aluminum-plastic panel.
The wall-mounted display screen can also be equipped with air conditioners. It is necessary to ensure that the main unit of the air conditioner has a place to be placed and does not affect the overall appearance of the wall. There are requirements for the selection of air conditioners. Generally, 1.5P, 2P and 3P air conditioners are the most commonly used. In northern cities, 12 square meters of 1P air conditioners are calculated; in southern cities, 9 square meters of 1P air conditioners are calculated. If the area of the LED outdoor display screen is relatively large, the air conditioner can be directly customized by the manufacturer. If the area is not large, it must be purchased in a specialty store. However, the display screen heat dissipation air conditioner has a call compensation function.
2. If the LED display is installed with columns, it is best to use a fan to dissipate heat. The fan is installed on the aluminum-plastic plate on the back of the large screen. It is best to lean upwards and make it in the form of a shutter so that rainwater does not enter the display when it rains. If it is a double-column installation, open a few shutters in the middle of the double columns. The shutter is the air inlet and the fan above is the exhaust port, thus forming a complete air convection for better heat dissipation.
If you must install an air conditioner, there is no problem with that, but the purchase cost and the use cost will increase, and the heat dissipation effect will be worse than that of a fan. Another question you must consider if you want to install an air conditioner is where to install the outdoor unit, whether it is hung on a column or on the back, and whether it can ensure the appearance of the appearance.
