Today, we will introduce to you a purely DIY handmade wireless charging table.
Imagine that when you get off work every day, you put your Windows Phone on the table casually. Without connecting any cables, the phone will be fully charged automatically, regardless of whether you forget to charge it or ignore the low battery prompt. Of course, this is not a difficult task as long as you are willing to do it. Weibo user @Timg made a dedicated charging table for himself with this idea using the DT-900 wireless charging stand at hand.
From the actual hands-on pictures, we can see that, except for the electric drill, the tools used to build a wireless charging table by hand are all easy to find. Use a utility knife to carve a shallow pit on the back of the table according to the outline of the DT-900 to accommodate the device, and then use an electric drill to drill holes so that the fixing device can stably clamp the DT-900. After fixing the cable of the wireless charging seat, the entire wireless charging table is actually completed.
Judging from the actual demonstration effect after the completion of the production, the 1cm thick wooden desktop can meet the requirements of the device using the wireless charging function after being installed in the DT-900. The charger hidden under the desktop can ensure that the device is firmly fixed without damaging the appearance of the entire table, truly achieving a seamless combination of wireless charging function and ordinary furniture.
But special attention should be paid to taking good protective measures when using various tools to avoid a situation like @Timg, where blood was spilled on the workbench.
