With the rapid development of the national economy, the demand for electricity in all walks of life is increasing, and the requirements for the quality of power supply (stability, uninterruptedness and accompanying services) provided by the power supply department are also getting higher and higher. Therefore, the safety of power grid operation of long-distance high-voltage transmission lines is particularly important.

The geographical environment and climatic conditions of long-distance high-voltage transmission lines are relatively harsh. Especially in winter, due to the low temperature and high humidity, the conductors are covered with ice for a long time. As the temperature drops and the low temperature time prolongs, the thickness of the ice becomes thicker and thicker, and the weight load on the high-voltage conductor becomes heavier and heavier. When the total weight of the ice exceeds the strength limit of the conductor, it will cause the cable to break and the tower to collapse. According to incomplete statistics, the domestic power industry has cable break accidents caused by ice every year, and the direct and indirect economic losses caused by cable breakage amount to billions of RMB. At the same time, there are the following urgent problems that need to be solved during the operation and maintenance of high-voltage transmission lines:
 Line tripping caused by mountain fire;
 Flash tripping caused by dirty insulators;
 Line tripping caused by lightning strikes.
To this end, each ultra-high voltage transmission network bureau and power company has been looking for effective monitoring and management methods. This project targets the above abnormal phenomena and uses wireless GPRS transmission to conduct real-time online monitoring of the icing of the transmission line. At the same time, it can monitor the leakage current of the conductor, the pollution of the insulator, the lightning current, the temperature of the conductor, the ambient temperature and humidity, the wildfire in the line corridor (the ambient CO2 content), the wind speed and rainfall on site and other parameters in real time, and provide early warning of the redundancy of the line transmission capacity and abnormal conditions of the line. By monitoring the effective parameters on the line, it can greatly improve the safe and economical operation level of the transmission line and provide necessary reference for the status inspection and maintenance of the transmission line.
System features
1. High system stability to ensure the normal operation of the equipment
The host chip of the remote data image collector is imported from Germany, and all devices are designed with industrial-grade, low-power, and high-stability ARM embedded processors; the stable and streamlined embedded Linux operating system kernel version and the write-balanced file system are used in the software, so that the system has stable performance, safe and reliable high-efficiency characteristics, and meets the needs of long-term, uninterrupted work and maintenance-free.
2. Instant acquisition of high-definition digital images
Under the conditions of wireless (GPRS/CDMA 1X) and low-speed (narrowband) transmission networks, high-definition digital images of remote sites can be acquired instantly.
3. Clear infrared night vision function
The remote data image collector can realize night image shooting through infrared night vision devices.
4. Remote shooting and near-end control
After the image monitoring client is connected to the Internet, it can send camera zoom, pan/tilt angle deflection and other instructions to the remote data image collector in real time through the transfer of the monitoring server to control the camera.
5. Real-time collection of on-site data
Through online polling and active upload of emergencies, under the control of the system management software, various on-site data collected by the remote device are sent to the monitoring center in real time.
6. Super cold protection and automatic lens defrosting function
The remote data image collector can automatically adjust the operating temperature of the equipment by monitoring the ambient temperature, effectively preventing the camera lens and cover from frosting.
7. Convenient power supply mode and power management function
The remote data image collector is powered by a 12V battery and can work continuously for more than 3 days on a single charge. If a solar charging system is used, it can be used in the field for a long time.
The remote data image collector has a power management function, which can cut off the power supply of external cameras, pan/tilts, infrared night vision devices, heaters and cooling fans as needed to extend the working time of the battery.
8. Support integration and scalability
The remote data image collector provides a wealth of standard communication interfaces (such as: network, RS232, RS485, USB and monitoring input terminals, etc.), which can be integrated with external devices such as data acquisition and alarm linkage to achieve various customized functional requirements; the system server adopts an open architecture structure, which can be easily integrated with third-party systems from multiple levels such as data, business, and application, providing enhanced scalability support.
9. Powerful image monitoring terminal
Large monitoring capacity
The system can support up to thousands of remote data image collectors and thousands of client users. One client can monitor multiple remote data image collectors at the same time, but a remote data image collector can only be accessed by one client at any time.
Comprehensive management of real-time images and data information
The fully functional monitoring server management software provides a basic application platform for the comprehensive management of large-capacity real-time image and text information and field data.
User authority management
The image monitoring client needs to verify the user identity to access the remote data image collector. The system defines two user identities: administrator user and ordinary user. The administrator user can set and modify the configuration parameters of the monitoring, and the ordinary user can only browse the image.
10. Remote control shooting
After the image monitoring client is connected to the Internet, it can send camera zoom, pan-tilt angle deflection and other instructions to the remote data image collector in real time through the transfer of the monitoring server to control the camera.
11. Complete image management and retrieval function
The data image monitoring client can realize the access, retrieval, image digital processing, comparative analysis and abnormal situation warning of historical image data.
Remote device working status monitoring and warning function
The image monitoring client can realize the monitoring of the working status of the remote device and abnormal situation warning. The monitored parameters include: battery voltage, equipment operating voltage, working status of each communication interface, equipment operating temperature, ambient temperature, camera focal length, PTZ deflection angle, etc.
The system structure is flexible and supports Web applications
. The data image monitoring server can run a network-based web publishing program, which is convenient for monitoring personnel in different locations to query relevant real-time image data and historical image data.
