There are usually two types of small liquid flow meters, Hall flow meters and photoelectric flow meters.
The Hall flowmeter uses the Hall effect to place an impeller with a two-pole magnet perpendicular to the magnetic field, and converts the GS value generated by the rotation of the impeller into a pulse signal output.
Photoelectric flow uses photoelectric position sensing. When the impeller rotates, the sensor calculates the number of revolutions and forms a relative pulse output.
Both of these flow meters can be used to connect pipes to test the flow rate. However, because the pipes of floor washing machines are usually small, usually with an inner diameter of 3~4mm, the flow rate of the flow meter used on floor washing machines is usually small. The FM-PS2130 developed by Ru Neng Dian has a flow rate of 30~150ml per minute and is suitable for pipe flow detection of coffee machines and floor washing machines.
This flowmeter is suitable for detecting clean water because it uses optical principles, does not contain magnets inside, will not pollute water quality, and has high reliability and precision. Install the flow meter on the pipe connected to the clean water tank of the floor washing machine. When the floor washing machine starts, the water pump starts pumping water, and the water flows through the flow meter. The flow meter outputs corresponding pulse data according to the number of rotations of the impeller. Adding a flow meter to the floor washing machine can not only control the flow rate, but also determine whether the water pump is empty, thereby realizing the water shortage detection of the floor washing machine.
