Worry-free, easy to use, ready to go
EXFO's FiberBasix 50 Series helps you meet your daily testing requirements without breaking your budget. With these worry-free, easy-to-use handheld test
The tester allows you to accurately measure signal attenuation during fiber optic cable installation. The FiberBasix 50 Series consists of two very convenient instruments:
● ELS-50 light source, providing up to three wavelengths for single-mode testing and two wavelengths for multi-mode testing
● EPM-50 power meter, providing high accuracy and reference functions
ELS-50 light source: multi-wavelength capability
EXFO's ELS-50 light source provides superior stability and measurement accuracy for up to three single-mode wavelengths (1310, 1490 and 1550 nm) or two multi-mode wavelengths (850 and 1300 nm). It is the perfect complement to the FiberBasix 50 EPM-50 power meter when it comes to measuring fiber link attenuation.
EPM-50 power meter: high accuracy and easy reference
The EPM-50 power meter not only provides high-precision power measurement, but also provides reference value setting functions. It has a battery life of up to 300 hours, and its performance is reliable and long-lasting in the field.
