4. Different working principles
The loop resistance tester usually uses a DC double-arm bridge to measure the contact resistance of the circuit breaker. However, when using a double-arm bridge to measure the resistance of the conductive circuit of the circuit breaker, it is difficult to eliminate the oxide film with large resistance because a weak current is measured through the double-arm bridge measurement circuit. The resistance value is too large.
The DC resistance tester is a central control unit that applies a constant, high-precision current to the external load to be tested by controlling a constant current source, and then processes the obtained data (including test voltage, test current, etc.).
