Keysight Technologies N1912A P series dual-channel power meter can provide peak value, peak-to-average ratio, average power, rise time, fall time, maximum power value, minimum power value and statistics of broadband signals with 100M continuous sampling per second. Power meters generally need to be calibrated before use, so how to calibrate? Today, Antai Test Technology will give you a brief introduction to the calibration process of N1912A power meter:

1. Turn on the power meter. This time we use N1912A as an example instrument.

2. Connect the power sensor

3. Click the Preset button to restore the default settings

(1) Click Preset

(2) Press the Select key to select DEFAULT, then click

(3) The instrument will be restored to default settings.

Calibration

(2) Click the Cal button, turn on Power Ref, and then click Zero+cal. The result is as shown below:

V. Compensation

After calibration, as shown in the figure above, compensation is required and calibration is 0dBm

(1) Click channel

(2) Click Offset. The calibration value in the above figure is -0.04dBm, so the compensation is 0.04dBm.

(3) The result after compensation is shown in the figure below:

6. At this point, the calibration and debugging of the power meter is completed.
