What is automatic triggering?

In automatic mode, for different time base positions, if the signal frequency is very low and the trigger condition is not met after the pre-trigger is completed, then the first time it will take at least the time specified in Table 2.1 for the corresponding position to be forced to trigger. If the sampling after the second time is not triggered, it will be forced to trigger directly.


The selection of automatic trigger time is particularly important. The ZDS2022 oscilloscope adopts the priority principle of stable waveform display to ensure that when testing low-frequency signals, the automatic trigger can be accurately triggered at the same trigger position and the waveform can be stably displayed. For example, when testing a 0.2Hz signal, that is, the cycle is 5s, if the automatic trigger waiting time is less than 5s, it cannot be triggered at the same position, resulting in unstable waveform display.
