The invention relates to the field of flow measurement, in particular to a self-charging electromagnetic flowmeter.
Background of the Invention
It is an inevitable trend for intelligent water meters to replace old mechanical water meters, and currently, disposable batteries are used in intelligent water meters to power the control electronic circuits.
For example, in the Chinese patent document with application number 200510049943.4, a battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter is disclosed, whose flow measurement circuit is connected to the battery power supply circuit built into the electromagnetic flowmeter. Its power supply is stable, and the voltage change can be monitored in real time, and the user can be reminded of the power supply working status in time to replace the undervoltage battery.
For another example, in the Chinese patent document with application number 201020555304.1, a battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter is disclosed. The converter housing of the battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter has a built-in battery, which is connected to a display and a wireless signal transmission device, so that flow measurement can be achieved through the built-in battery in areas without an external power supply, and signals in harsh environments and inconvenient readings can be transmitted through the built-in signal wireless transmission device, thereby achieving remote reading and control.
Although battery power is convenient, it has the following defects: no matter how large the capacity of a disposable battery is, it will always run out of power, and the humidity in the working environment of the water meter is relatively high, which can easily cause battery leakage. Therefore, the battery life often does not meet the design requirements. In other words, a smart water meter may need to replace the battery more than once. The work of replacing the battery can only be done by professionals assigned by the management department. It is not difficult to predict that when all people use smart water meters, the workload of replacing batteries will be very huge, wasting a lot of manpower and material resources, and the replaced batteries will also pollute the environment.
Summary of the invention
In view of the above-mentioned shortcomings of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a self-charging electromagnetic flowmeter.
To achieve the above-mentioned object and other related objects, the present invention provides a self-charging electromagnetic flowmeter, which at least includes: a water flow generator arranged in a pipe through which water flows, the water inlet of the shell of which is trumpet-shaped, and an impeller, a gear speed increasing unit, and a permanent magnet DC generator are arranged in the shell; an energy storage unit connected to the water flow generator; an excitation generating unit for generating a magnetic field based on a control signal; an induced electromotive force receiving unit for generating a corresponding induced electromotive force based on the magnetic field generated by the excitation generating unit; a processing unit connected to the excitation generating unit, the induced electromotive force receiving unit and the energy storage unit and used to output the control signal and process the data input by the induced electromotive force receiving unit; and a storage unit connected to the processing unit.
Preferably, a sealing unit is provided in the housing to isolate a space in the housing where the impeller is provided from a space in the housing where the gear speed increasing unit is provided.
As described above, the self-charging electromagnetic flowmeter of the present invention has the following beneficial effects: it can generate electricity based on water flow, thereby achieving self-sufficiency in electrical energy.
