One network cable, one IP, and all operations are done by IE browser. Whether it is viewing waveforms, taking screenshots, or upgrading firmware, it's all done, it's that simple!
1. Operation steps of using IE browser to access the oscilloscope
1. Use a common network cable to connect the oscilloscope and the computer;
2. Open the IE browser and enter the IP address set on the oscilloscope;
3. Press Enter to enter the access interface, as shown in Figure 1:
Figure 1 How to access the oscilloscope using IE browser
2. What operations can be performed after successful access?
As shown in Figure 1, after successful access, remote control, file browsing and firmware upgrade are possible.
Remote control oscilloscope
After the IE browser successfully accesses the oscilloscope, the interface shown in Figure 2 will be displayed. The interface has the same buttons as the oscilloscope. You can directly click the corresponding buttons to set the oscilloscope.

2. Screenshot
After entering the interface as shown in Figure 2, right-click the mouse in the oscilloscope screen display area and select Save Picture As in the menu to save the picture on the computer, as shown in Figure 3:

Note: If you want to capture an inverted image, you can do this: first click the [Save/Recall] button in Figure 2, then select [Image Inversion] in the menu to ON, and then take a screenshot according to the above method.
3. File browsing or downloading
Open a file stored on the oscilloscope directly in your browser, or save a single file or all files to your computer.
l Open the web report file saved on the oscilloscope directly on the browser
Click on the file browse in the menu in Figure 2 to enter the interface as shown in Figure 4, and then click on the web report file you want to browse.
Figure 4 File browsing
Files that can be browsed directly refer to files that can be opened on the browser itself, such as web reports. For other files that cannot be opened directly on the browser, when we click the corresponding file with the left mouse button, a selection box will appear first, and we can open it directly or save it directly to the computer, as shown in Figure 5:
Figure 5 Single file download
l Save a file on the browser to your computer
After entering the interface shown in Figure 4, you can select the file you want to save to your computer. After selecting the target file, right-click the mouse and a corresponding menu will appear. Select Save Target As to save the target file to the location you want. As shown in Figure 6:
Figure 6 Single file download
l Package download files
When we need to save multiple files to the computer, we can use this function. The specific operation is shown in Figure 7. After selecting the files to be saved, click Download, a prompt box will pop up, and then choose to save to the location you want to save. (If there are many files to download, it may take some time, and you can observe the progress bar for details.)

4. Online firmware upgrade
The firmware upgrade of the oscilloscope is not only done through a USB flash drive, but can now be done online directly on a computer, as shown in Figure 8: First, select the firmware to be upgraded, and then upload the firmware.
Figure 8 Online firmware upgrade
Taking the ZDS4000 series firmware upgrade as an example, the steps are as follows:
l Unzip the upgrade package and copy the unzipped "ZDS4000" folder to the root directory of the USB flash drive, that is, the directory in the USB flash drive is ZDS4000\code;
l Insert the upgrade USB disk, power on the oscilloscope, and turn it on. The oscilloscope will automatically enter the upgrade interface. The upgrade will take several minutes, so please wait patiently.
After the upgrade is completed, the buzzer will sound and the system will automatically restart. The upgrade is now complete and you can remove the USB flash drive.
