The vacuum tester is a commonly used test instrument. The sampling design of the product has changed the previous method of using current peak value for calibration, and now uses ion charge for calibration. How should users use the vacuum tester? The following editor will introduce the use of the vacuum tester in detail, hoping to help everyone.
How to use the vacuum tester
1. Application
(1) Used for quality control of arc extinguishing chambers in vacuum arc extinguishing chamber production lines and warehouse inspection of arc extinguishing chambers of circuit breaker manufacturers.
(2) Used to detect the vacuum degree of the vacuum interrupter installed on the switch. This type of detection is mainly used for routine maintenance and capacity testing of the power supply department to determine the withstand capacity of the vacuum interrupter.
2. Connection
Connect the magnetic control current output terminal on the panel to the magnetic control coil through a wire, so that the arc extinguishing chamber contact is in the open state (the coil is outside the arc extinguishing chamber), and connect the high-voltage line and signal input line to the moving end and the static end of the arc extinguishing chamber respectively. Note that the high-voltage line should be suspended (as shown in the figure).
3. Tube type selection
When measuring, first select the tube type. A variety of tube types have been stored in the instrument. For specific parameters, see the appendix table.
(1) Tube type selection operation mode
Press the [Select] key to make [◢◢] point to the test tube type, press the [Confirm] key, use the [+] key or the [-] key to adjust the tube type parameters, when the tube type displayed on the display is consistent with the tube type code to be measured, press the [Confirm] key to return to the main menu. If the tube type to be measured is not given in the manual, it can be replaced by a tube type with similar size and the same wiring method.
(2) Measurement
Press the [Select Key] to adjust [◢◢] to the test vacuum tube "Pa", and press the [Confirm Key] to put the instrument into measurement state. It will automatically complete the whole process of measurement, calculation, and display.
(3) Print
If you need to print the test data, press the [Confirm Key] to return to the main menu, press the [Select Key] to move [◢◢] to print the test data, and then press the [Print Key] to print out all the measurement data.
(4) If there is no alternative parameter, press the [Select Key] to make [◢◢] point to "A", which will directly give the ionization current. Generally speaking, the ionization current (A) is 2 orders of magnitude smaller than the vacuum degree (Pa).
4. Measurement steps
Start high voltage → measure leakage current → automatically turn off high voltage, turn on charging switch → voltage reaches specified value → restart high voltage, start magnetic control current at the same time, measure leakage current + ionization leakage current → deduct leakage current → current is converted into vacuum value → display and print. If [Measurement A key] is valid, the current value will be displayed.
This instrument uses the method of starting high pressure twice. If the instrument returns to the initial state after starting high pressure for the first time, the instrument refuses to be inspected. Check whether the vacuum tube is in a closed state. If not, the tube has serious air leakage or is completely leaking.
