In order to prevent the sensor from being damaged due to accidental inversion of the power supply, a protective diode is specially installed in the circuit. This test can be performed using a multimeter to test both ends of the diode. The test should be performed under the conditions of ip=0, ambient temperature t≈25℃, no power supply to the sensor, and no connection to the measuring resistor. The following two methods can be used for testing:

       sensor

The first type: the red probe of the multimeter is connected to the "m" end of the sensor, and the black probe of the multimeter is connected to the "+" end of the sensor;

The second method: connect the red probe of the multimeter to the negative pole of the sensor, and the black probe of the multimeter to the m terminal of the sensor;

During the test, if the multimeter beeps, it means that the diode is damaged.
