The new version of logic analyzer software (ZLGLogic V5) completely overturns the previous style, redesigns the data presentation, adds a number of practical analysis tools, greatly improves data processing performance, better helps users analyze and solve problems, and improves user work efficiency. Currently, the software supports two series of logic analyzers, "deep storage" and "flagship", and will continue to support "general" logic analyzers in the future.
Guangzhou Zhiyuan Electronics invited a professional UI design team to redesign the interface and operation mode of ZLGLogic V5 software, making the software both artistic and practical. The new version of the software has the following three features:
1. The cool tones of black, white and gray give it a full sense of technology.
The software uses dark gray as the main background, the waveform is displayed in blue, and the protocol decoding view uses multiple colors to distinguish the types of fields. The color matching is clear and bright, full of technological sense.

2. Functional segmentation layout, in line with user operation habits
ZLGLogic V5 follows the general layout of software as a whole, changing the style but not the user's habits, making the software easier to use and users can easily master it without any learning.
3. Focus on detail optimization to make operation more convenient
The software is optimized in many details to enhance the user experience. Here are 3 points for your reference.
(1) Commonly used tools such as frequency meter and logic pen are directly embedded in the software interface, allowing users to view them intuitively at any time.
(2) Supports displaying information such as pulse width, period, frequency, duty cycle, etc. directly on the waveform curve, allowing users to understand the waveform details at any time.
(3) Optimize the labeling function to assist users in positioning, searching, measuring and comparing.
Next, we will take the entire analysis process of I²C data as an example to show the new version of the logic analyzer software in detail.
After completing the device wiring, we first click the bus setting button ( ) on the toolbar to configure the bus for data collection, as shown in Figure 2. In the pop-up interface, you can check the bus and modify the bus name. The configuration method is simple, flexible and easy to use.

After configuring the bus, click the acquisition button on the upper left to collect data. The software supports viewing the bus logic level and frequency value in an intuitive way. It also supports the "find" and "measure" functions to help users analyze circuit timing and quickly locate problems.

ZLGLogic V5 software provides a large number of protocol plug-ins for users to use free of charge. The software optimizes the display mode of decoded data and supports two display modes: "graph" and "event table", making it more convenient and beautiful to view protocol data.

The software supports the export of "raw data" and "decoded data". It provides a rich export configuration interface, allowing users to customize export parameters for secondary analysis.
