1. The four terminals of the current transformer must be connected according to the wiring diagram. Otherwise, the indication of the energy meter will be wrong or even reversed;

2. When connected through a current transformer, since the current coil of the energy meter is no longer directly connected to the circuit being measured, the wiring terminals of the voltage coil must be separately wired to the corresponding phase line, otherwise the energy meter will not work;

3. When the electric energy meter is connected through a current transformer, the wire of the measured circuit is too thick to pass through the terminal of the electric energy meter, so a small-section wire is used to connect the zero.

4. From the perspective of safety, when using a current transformer, one end of the secondary side of the current transformer must be grounded. The so-called grounding is generally done by connecting one end of the secondary side of the current transformer to the metal frame of the switch cabinet with a wire.
