Application of Submersible Liquid Level Meter in Tank Level Detection
The data acquisition system has the functions of process display, alarm processing, trend chart display, report printing, etc., but there are still some deficiencies in the detection of oil tank liquid level. The error of the buoy indication used is too large, and it cannot reflect the change of tank level in time and accurately. In order to further improve the data acquisition system, Binzhou Oil Transportation Station installed a immersion level meter on the oil tank for the first time. The level meter has stable performance, high accuracy, and is very convenient to install, debug and maintain. Its price is only one tenth of that of imported level meters. The tank level variable signal detected by the level meter can be directly transmitted to the computer, and the actual tank level change can be observed from the display, thus making up for the lack of tank level variables in the data acquisition system. This not only greatly reduces labor intensity, but also improves work efficiency. Practice has proved that in terms of oil tank liquid level detection, the immersion level meter can completely replace the imported level meter.
The immersion level gauge is a pressure sensor for measuring liquid level. It is based on the principle that the static pressure of the measured liquid is proportional to the height of the liquid. It uses an isolated diffused silicon sensitive element or a ceramic capacitor pressure sensitive sensor to convert the static pressure into an electrical signal, which is then converted into a standard electrical signal after temperature compensation and linear correction. It is generally suitable for liquid level measurement of various media in systems and industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, electric power, pharmaceuticals, water supply and drainage, and environmental protection.
Submersible level gauges are widely used in life, chemical industry, electricity, construction, etc. They are easy to install, use and maintain, but require a lot of maintenance in hard water. I hope this article can inspire colleagues in the industry. I. Overview 1. Working principle of submersible level gauges Submersible level gauges are based on the principle that the static pressure of the measured liquid is proportional to the height of the liquid, and use the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon or ceramic sensitive elements.
