"By building the foundation of our application around PXI and NI FlexRIO, we have developed a solution that provides users with high performance and data throughput while being easy to support and maintain because it leverages industry-standard platforms."
– Mauro Arigossi, Alfamation
Figure 1. The Alfamation FlexMedia VA-01 features real-time analysis of HD video bit error rate and pixel error rate, leveraging the performance of industry-standard NI PXI/PXI Express and FPGA-based NI FlexRIO technology.
The Challenge:
Create a family of products to test complex video devices such as High-Definition (HD) and Three-Dimensional (3D) televisions featuring high definition, deep color, and high frame refresh rates.
The Solution:
Use NI FlexRIO to create the FlexMedia V Series product line, a cost-effective solution for high-speed, automated, low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) video testing.
