The STS4L is the latest addition to the Sensirion STS4x temperature sensor family and is an ideal solution for cost- and size-sensitive applications. Its accuracy specifications are tuned to guarantee best-in-class performance and industry-leading delivery times.
STAFFA, Switzerland - The STS4L is a fully digital, cost-effective temperature sensor designed for cost- and size-sensitive applications with an accuracy of ±0.4°C. Its signal processing capabilities have been enhanced, with three different I²C addresses and a communication speed of up to 1 MHz. With a size of only 1.5 × 1.5 × 0.5 mm , the STS4L is easy to integrate into a variety of applications, and its wide supply voltage range and low power consumption make it ideal for battery-powered designs.
Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the STS4L sensor is optimized for easy integration into high-volume applications using SMD design and tape-and-reel packaging. The STS4L sensor has a high signal-to-noise ratio and powerful processing capabilities, as well as long-term reliability and stability. Compared to similar products on the market, the STS4L maintains top performance while also having unparalleled cost-effectiveness.
“The STS4L enables a host of new applications with its tuned accuracy, compact size and excellent cost-effectiveness,” said Manuel Moriano, Product Director for Humidity and Temperature Sensors at Sensirion . “With the STS4L, we are able to address the needs of applications with stringent size and cost requirements, from wearable technology to smart home devices.”
