How LiDAR solutions can improve transportation and supply chain efficiency

At the show, Christina Aizcorbe, Vice President of Government Affairs at Velodyne, will deliver a keynote address at the Autonomous Freight Commercialization Symposium. Autonomous freight commercialization is no longer just a theoretical concept, it also provides critical, reliable real-world data to support the development of the industry, and it can be said that the benefits of freight commercialization for consumers are real and visible. Innovation in the freight industry is also stimulating economic growth beyond trucking.

“We are seeing an acceleration in the deployment of supply chain automation, and the advanced sensing technology used in autonomous driving systems can also be used to improve the automation efficiency of warehouses, logistics and ports. LiDAR technology is essential to ensure that automated systems operate safely around the clock,” said Christina Aizcorbe.
