Mouser launches Semtech LoRa® LR1121 multi-band transceiver to support a wide range of sensor and radio communication applications
July 17, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor of semiconductors and electronic components focused on introducing new products, will stock the Semtech LoRa® LR1121 multi-band transceiver from now on. The device is an ultra-low power long-range transceiver that supports terrestrial, industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band communications as well as S-band satellite connectivity. The LoRa LR1121 transceiver is ideal for applications that require compliance with a variety of radio standards, including smart meters, asset tracking applications, parking sensors, environmental sensors and smart homes.
The LoRa LR1121 multi-band transceiver from Mouser supports any combination of LoRa, (G)FSK and Long Range FHSS (LR-FHSS) modulation. The transceiver complies with a wide range of radio standards, including ETSI EN 300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, ARIB and Chinese regulatory requirements. The LR1121 transceiver integrates a PA regulator power selector to simplify dual supply +15/+22dBm in the sub-GHz range with a single board implementation. The transceiver is fully compatible with the LoRa Connect SX1261/2/8 devices and the LoRaWAN® protocol as defined by the LoRa Alliance®. The transceiver also features a powerful encryption engine that supports AES-128 encryption/decryption based algorithms.
The LR1121 transceiver is supported by the LR1121DVK1TxKS development kit. These development kits provide specially configured RF front ends and antennas for the globally used 2.4GHz ISM band, as well as regional bands such as 868MHz in Europe (LR1121DVK1TBKS), 915MHz in North America (LR1121DVK1TCKS) and 490MHz in China (LR1121DVK1TGKS).
