The Long March 5B, carrying a new generation of manned spacecraft test ship and a flexible inflatable cargo return capsule test cabin, ignited and took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Center. About 488 seconds later, the payload assembly successfully separated from the rocket and entered the predetermined orbit, marking the success of my country's first flight mission in the space station phase.

According to CCTV News, the new generation of manned spacecraft test ship carried a "composite material space 3D printing system" independently developed by my country. This is my country's first space 3D printing experiment and the first time in the world to carry out 3D printing experiments of continuous fiber reinforced composite materials in space. During the flight, the system independently completed the printing of samples of continuous fiber reinforced composite materials and verified the scientific experimental goals of composite material 3D printing in a microgravity environment.

According to IT Home, continuous fiber reinforced composite materials are the main materials for current spacecraft structures at home and abroad. They have low density and high strength. Research on space 3D printing technology for composite materials is of great significance for the long-term on-orbit operation of future space stations and the development of on-orbit manufacturing of super-large space structures.
