Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ: CDNS) successfully held the Cadence China User Conference - CDNLive 2019 in Shanghai today!
CDNLive is an annual global user conference held by Cadence. The theme of the 2019 CDNLive conference is Cadence's innovative "Intelligent System Design" strategy. The conference brings together Cadence's technical users, developers and industry experts, covering the most complete advanced technology exchange platform, from IP/SoC design, verification simulation to packaging and board-level design. Technology sharing of the entire process, as well as customer case sharing for innovative applications such as autonomous driving, intelligent perception, voice interaction, machine vision and deep learning.
CDNLive is currently the most comprehensive and largest advanced technology exchange platform in the EDA industry in China. In 2019, the scale and participation of the CDNLive conference once again set industry records:
More than 1,400 IC design industry practitioners from more than 130 companies
32 ecosystem partners and sponsors
8 major technical forums
64 technical presentations
45 users and partners were invited as speakers
On the morning of August 15, Ms. Yun Xu, Vice President of Cadence and General Manager of China and Southeast Asia, first welcomed the arrival of industry customers, partners, experts and scholars, and media friends on behalf of the company. Then came the wonderful keynote speeches by Mr. Anirudh Devgan, President of Cadence, Dr. Wei Shaojun, Professor of Tsinghua University, and Dr. Zhu Long, Co-founder and CEO of Yitu Technology. The award ceremony for the outstanding paper winners of this year's CDNLive, presented by Mr. Zheng Qingyuan of Nvidia, Chairman of the CDNLive 2019 Technical Jury, brought the morning series of activities to a perfect end.
At the same time, CDNLive covers multiple technical topics through eight major technical forums: advanced process design implementation and signoff, system design and verification, analog and mixed signal design, PCB design and packaging, processor IP, automotive electronics solutions and system-level simulation, covering all Cadence product lines. Cadence users and partners will showcase their technical achievements and design experience in related fields.
The most different thing about this year's CDNLive conference compared to previous ones is the "Designer Exhibition" that brings together upstream and downstream industries. Cadence has invited 32 global industry partners, including foundries, system companies, Tensilica algorithm and system partners, automotive electronics partners, etc., and has set up nearly 40 on-site interactive technology demonstration areas for this purpose. These Cadence ecosystem partners and co-builders demonstrated their close cooperation with Cadence, advanced technical solutions and perfect services on site, and communicated directly with engineers face to face.
CDNLive is an annual global user conference held by Cadence. Starting from Silicon Valley in March this year, it covers nine regions and countries including Europe, Japan, Taiwan, India, and South Korea. More than 6,000 engineers from around the world share their design results here. In Shanghai, China, dozens of Cadence tool experts from overseas and design experts from well-known IC design companies communicated face-to-face with Chinese IC engineers through wonderful speeches.
Cadence is the world's largest supplier of EDA tools and system solutions for integrated circuit design. It is a global leader in software, hardware, design methods and services, and has taken a leading position in technology in cutting-edge fields such as advanced process node design, machine learning design process innovation, artificial intelligence, automotive electronics, and industrial Internet.
