Mouser Electronics, Inc., an authorized global distributor with the latest semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the EZ-BT™ Mesh Networking Evaluation Kit from Cypress Semiconductor. The battery- or USB-powered kit helps designers evaluate the Bluetooth® SIG mesh networking capabilities of the CYBT-213043-02 EZ-BT WICED® module.
The Cypress EZ-BT Mesh Network Evaluation Kit, available from Mouser Electronics, includes four evaluation boards, allowing engineers to evaluate mesh networking with just one kit. Each evaluation board includes a fully certified CYBT-213043-02 EZ-BT module, a thermistor, an ambient light sensor, and a PIR motion sensor, a coin cell battery holder, a micro-USB connector, an onboard programmer, and a USB-UART bridge.
The CYBT-213043-02 EZ-BT module is based on the ultra-low power and highly integrated CYW20819 dual-mode Bluetooth 5.0 device. The low power consumption and integration capabilities of the CYW20819 meet the needs of Bluetooth low energy mesh networks for battery-powered and socket-powered applications, such as sensor nodes, electronic locks, lighting, asset tracking and other smart home applications.
Engineers can program the CYBT-213043-MESH EZ-BT mesh network evaluation kit in the ModusToolbox integrated development environment (IDE) v1.1 or higher. ModusToolbox includes many demonstration code examples to help engineers quickly implement real-world mesh network applications.
