According to a Reuters report on November 21, Microsoft of the United States said on Thursday that it had obtained a license to export software to China's Huawei.

"On November 20, the U.S. Department of Commerce approved Microsoft's application for a license to sell consumer software to Huawei. We appreciate the Department of Commerce's action on our application," a Microsoft spokesman told Reuters in an email.

The Trump administration on Wednesday allowed some suppliers to restart shipments to the Chinese telecom giant, six months after Washington put Huawei on a trade blacklist over national security concerns.

Since the ban was issued, Huawei has received three consecutive "exemptions". On May 22, August 19 and November 18 this year, the United States announced the postponement of the implementation of the "Entity List" for 90 days each time.

Previously, in response to the extension, Huawei stated that regardless of whether the temporary license is extended or not, the substantive impact on Huawei's operations will be limited, and it will not change the unfair treatment Huawei has been suffering.
