It is worth noting that the Zen 4 architecture will also add support for the AVX-512 instruction set. In March this year, Intel just announced that it would disable this instruction set in subsequent 12th-generation Core processors. Intel has previously found that running such instruction sets significantly increases CPU power consumption.
Su Zifeng said that the 7000 series Ryzen's running scores on Geek bench all exceeded Intel's flagship processor i9-12900K.

Ryzen 9 7950X has 16 cores and 32 threads. The base frequency is 4.5GHz, and the peak frequency reaches 5.7GHz, which is 800MHz higher than the previous generation processor and 200MHz higher than Intel's 12th generation Core flagship processor i9-12900KS.
In terms of actual performance,

AMD also demonstrated a new GPU using the RDNA 3 architecture for the first time at this conference. According to Su Zifeng, the GPU is stacked in a chiplet manner and uses TSMC's 5nm process, which improves performance per watt by 50% compared to existing Radeon GPUs.
A demonstration video of using Ryzen 9 7950X and RNDA 3 architecture GPU to play games was played on site, but no further details on the GPU's gaming performance were released.
In addition to launching products, AMD also showcased its development blueprint for the coming period.
At the press conference, AMD showed a more detailed Zen architecture roadmap. According to the roadmap, AMD will release Zen 5 architecture processors using 4nm/3nm processes in 2024.
