On January 4, 2018,
WPG Holdings
, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market
, announced that its subsidiary Quanta Semiconductor has launched a LoRa smart module solution combining AcSiP and Semtech.
AcSiP is a provider of IoT solutions and can provide IoT-related resources. LoRaWAN takes into account several factors such as node power consumption, network capacity, QoS, security and network application diversity in the design of protocols and network architecture. LoRa smart modules can make it clear and easy for developers to design the concept of their LoRa WAN applications. Reducing the development process allows users to focus on sensor application development, data collection, while monitoring and ultimately managing all data stored in the local database can be built by themselves or third-party resources.
