The free instrument control software KickStart can complete data acquisition and analysis without complicated instrument programming. This video micro-class explains how to use Kickstart to program the Keithley 2450 new source meter to collect and record data, quickly obtain an IV graph, view the waveform in the form of a chart or table, and export the graph storage to the local computer for later viewing.


Making measurements is easy with KickStart. Perform IV characterization, data logging, and voltage sourcing with load current measurements. View data in graphical or tabular format. Data can be stored to disk for later analysis in software environments such as Microsoft Excel®. See the chart below for a list of compatible models.
