In recent years, with the development of science and technology, mobile portable devices have also made rapid progress, which is not only reflected in the function, but also in the hardware upgrade. Taking the display part as an example, it has gone through several stages, including LED digital tube, LCD black and white screen and now high-definition color screen. Faced with the increasingly colorful display of mobile portable devices, the challenge is the problem of inconsistent screen interfaces. Due to the wide variety of interfaces, it not only brings very cumbersome challenges to the SoC on-chip system interface adaptation, but also wastes the system's on-chip resources. Therefore, it is very important for developers to have a suitable adapter chip.
TC358775XBG is a MIPI ® DSI to LVDS bridge chip. DSI speed supports 1Gbps/lane, with a total of 4 lanes; LVDS runs at 1.8V to reduce operating power consumption, and the maximum clock can reach 135MHz; 4 lane DSI Rx, the maximum rate of each lane is 1Gbps, which can support 1920×1200×24@60fps, and this rate can achieve low latency, thus giving users visual enjoyment; TC358775XBG uses BGA64 package, and the smaller package volume can reduce the size of the PCB circuit board, making it easier to realize the portability of the product. At the same time, TC358775XBG is the successor product of TC35865XBG , and the pins are basically compatible, which further reduces the customer's product upgrade cost. If there is a need for automotive regulations, TC9593XBG can be selected as a replacement.
TC358775XBG is a consumer-level bridge IC , which contains a set of MIPI-DSI inputs. This set of DSI outputs is a standard 4-lane. In addition, it also has LVDS dual-link outputs, each route consists of 5 pairs of differential signals (including 4 pairs of data signals and 1 pair of clock signals). In terms of performance, the device supports 1.2V voltage input, ordinary digital IO supports 1.8V or 3.3V power input, the resolution can reach 1920×1200@24 bits, and can work in the range of -30℃-85℃.
TC358775XBG is widely used in displays of VR/AR portable devices, advertising machines, POS machines, face recognition terminals, smart retail, robots, industrial control equipment, handheld devices, smart home appliances and other products.
The automotive-grade alternative TC9593XBG has exactly the same functional features as TC358775XBG and can meet the needs of the in-vehicle working environment. When used in the in-vehicle IVI system, it can be compatible with more display screens, making the in-vehicle IVI system more technological and functional.
Toshiba has been deeply engaged in IC bridging for many years and has gained rich experience. It can solve the problem of display interface differentiation of consumer products and provide high-quality chip products and solution services to customers and application areas such as personal consumer electronics.
