ROHM sensor evaluation kit SensorShield-EVK-003 supports open platforms such as Arduino Uno and mbed. It can combine 8 types of ROHM's high-performance sensors for evaluation. It is ideal for sensor evaluation, initial component evaluation, and training materials.

This time, Rohm's sensor evaluation kit has a total of 10 sets, each set contains 8 independent sensor evaluation boards. Specifically including Acceleration sensor evaluation board, air pressure sensor evaluation board, geomagnetic sensor evaluation board, illuminance proximity sensor evaluation board, color sensor evaluation board, Hall IC evaluation board, temperature sensor evaluation board, pulse sensor evaluation board (see the figure below for details)

Detailed process

Application conditions : Applicants must be fans of the ROHM WeChat official account. Please follow this WeChat official account to participate in the event.

Operation steps : Click on the forum "I want to participate" and fill in the correct contact information and address, reply with the screenshot of the public account you have followed, and reply with the reason for application and application type (full set, one or several sensors)

Reasons for application : previous project introduction, personal expertise, development plan, etc. The more detailed, the greater the chance of approval. Students who apply for a full set of applications must fully demonstrate themselves in order to attract the attention of administrators.

List announcement : The trial list will be updated in this post, please stay tuned

Trial notification : After the application is successful, the organizer will contact you. Please keep the contact information open. If the management staff cannot contact you, it will be regarded as giving up the qualification.

Special note : If the evaluation content submitted when applying is not completed, the applicant is required to send the kit back without special circumstances, and the shipping fee shall be borne by the applicant.

Work Report

Requirements for the work report:

When the project is completed, you need to submit a project report or a work post of your learning experience.

In the event area, create a new thread with the title "[Sensor Big Delivery] + xxxx"
Students who apply for a single or combined sensor evaluation board must complete at least 1 post within the specified time. New post
Students who apply for the kit must complete at least 2 new posts ( including at least 1 advanced post )

Posting content includes two levels

①Beginner 's Edition:

Post photos of the actual product and conduct evaluation from the aspects of functional characteristics, system block diagram, hardware resources, workmanship, software resources, and functional demonstration;
Rohm sensor development learning experience, development board debugging experience, solutions to problems encountered
Completed work release

②Advanced Edition:

Project description, system framework, and debugging code using the development board
Project photos and demonstration videos
Completed work release

Award Rules

Users who complete the post carefully will directly obtain the evaluation board they applied for
The community will select the following based on the completeness of the post, the innovation of the project, the number of replies, etc.
