WM Motor and Qualcomm collaborate to shape the next generation of digital cockpit and 5G experience

WM Motor Technology Group (WM Motor) and Qualcomm today announced that they will work together to support WM Motor’s future models to adopt advanced automotive digital cockpits and 5G experiences. Committed to building a new generation of intelligent connected vehicles, WM Motor will use the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon™ Automotive Digital Cockpit Platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon™ Automotive 5G Platform in new mass-produced models starting in early 2021. WM Motor will build a new WMConnect smart digital cockpit based on the Snapdragon Automotive 5G platform, becoming one of the first domestic vehicle companies to simultaneously implement 5G technology and in-vehicle Ethernet technology, which can significantly improve its driving experience and vehicle safety, and create high-speed, safe, and intelligent connected cars. The Snapdragon Automotive 5G platform can provide support for a rich in-vehicle experience, including low-latency multi-gigabit transmission speeds, lane-level navigation accuracy, and a complete integrated C-V2X solution.
