One minute to explain: What is the industrial network security IEC 62443 standard? How to implement it quickly?
Industrial IoT Security
As high-value assets, industrial systems are inevitably vulnerable to hacker attacks. Protecting all systems from all potential threats is an unrealistic goal and unnecessary. So how should we define the security level of protected objects in the Industrial Internet of Things and quickly establish a corresponding security protection system? This is a question that the entire industry must answer seriously.
It is against this background that the industrial network security IEC 62443 standard came into being. IEC 62443 is a set of standards that address cybersecurity issues for industrial IoT systems based on their technology, processes, and user best practices. It defines different security levels for different network security use cases and stipulates the requirements and processes for implementing and maintaining electronic security industrial automation and control systems. It can be said to be the yardstick for measuring industrial network security.
How should we understand the IEC 62443 standard and choose the appropriate product portfolio and solutions according to the requirements of the application scenario to prevent different levels of attacks? The answer is in this video——
