PI37xx is a series of high efficiency, wide input range DC-DC ZVS buck-boost regulators that integrate a ZVS controller, power switch and supporting components in a system-in-package (SiP). The high performance zero voltage switching (ZVS) topology integrated in PI37xx increases the load point performance and provides the best power efficiency. PI37xx only requires an external inductor and minimal capacitors to form a complete DC-DC switch mode buck-boost regulator. The ZVS architecture enables high frequency operation while minimizing switching losses and maximizing efficiency. The combined elements of ZVS topology, high frequency operation, efficiency, silicon integration and power density enable the PI375x series to achieve recognized high performance. High switching frequency operation reduces the size of external filtering components, improves power density, and achieves very fast voltage and load transient dynamic response.
