In this video, Konrad Technologies will discuss how simulators combined with ADAS/AD sensor suites can be used in the lab to robustly validate ADAS/AD functionality, which is the first step before real-car road testing. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing combined with sensor fusion will also include real sensors (such as radar sensors) for testing ADAS/AD functionality, with the goal of replicating real-world driving situations in a lab environment, thus minimizing the cost and length of road testing.
