PIC32MM series 32-bit microcontroller
Overview
The PIC32MM family is Microchip's lowest power and most cost-effective 32-bit PIC32 microcontroller family. The PIC32MM family fills the gap between our popular PIC24F XLP and PIC32MX families. With sleep mode currents as low as 500 nA and package sizes as small as 4 × 4 mm, the PIC32MM devices are ideal for applications that require longer battery life and smaller form factors. These devices feature core-independent peripherals such as Configurable Logic Cell (CLC) and Multiple Output Capture/Compare/PWM (MCCP) to reduce CPU loading. The compact microMIPS™ instructions, microAptiv™ UC core and shadow register set enable the PIC32MM family of devices to achieve a CoreMark™ score of 79 at 25 MHz. The microMIPS ISA combines 16-bit and 32-bit instructions for compact code. Microchip's MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) supports this family of devices to help simplify design.
