Maxim News | The board of directors expands, see how the Steel Rose conquers the automotive and medical markets
Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. recently announced the nomination of MaryAnn Wright and Tracy Accardi as new board members, effective immediately. With these two new appointments, Maxim's board of directors has increased from 7 to 9 members.
Bill Sullivan , Chairman of Maxim's Board of Directors, said, "We are delighted to welcome MaryAnn Wright and Tracy Accardi to our Board of Directors. They bring a wealth of management experience and deep insights into Maxim's technology and product development, especially in our two vertical end markets, automotive and medical. We look forward to their continued contributions to our growth initiatives."
Ms. Wright was previously Vice President of Technology and Industry Relations at Johnson Controls. During her nine- year tenure, she held management positions in R&D, Engineering and Product Development. From 2006 to 2007 , Ms. Wright served as Executive Vice President of Engineering, Product Development, Commercial and Program Management at Collins & Aikman . She also held various executive positions at Ford Motor Company from 1988 to 2005. In 2014 , Ms. Wright served as a director of Group 1 Automotive . She holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MBA from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics from the University of Michigan.
Ms. Accardi has served as Vice President of Global Research and Development for Hologic’s Breast and Bone Health Solutions business since 2014, where she led the development of screening, diagnostic, and biopsy systems for the detection and treatment of breast cancer. From 2012 to 2014 , she served as Chief Technology Officer at Omniguide ; from 2011 to 2012 , she served as Executive Consultant at Mednest Consulting; from 2007 to 2011 , she served in Advanced Research and Development at Covidien; from 2003 to 2007 , she served at Johnson & Johnson; from 2001 to 2003 , she served at Philips Medical Systems; from 1981 to 2001 , she held management roles at General Electric in corporate research and development, healthcare, and aerospace. Ms. Accardi holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
