Job title: Senior stamping engineer

Work Location: Suzhou

Reporting to: Global Engineering Services Manager

Main job responsibilities :

As an expert in metal stamping die design, stamping tool manufacturing (materials and processing), metal stamping design, metal stamping process and stamping operations, meet with metal stamping parts and tooling suppliers and review design drawings and stamping manufacturing. Need to work with Asian suppliers, support global modeling operations, and be responsible for the successful transfer of dies and installation at Littelfuse.

Job Description :

1. Locate, supervise and develop strategic suppliers of stamping parts and dies. Provide technical support for procurement quotations of dies and parts.

2. Coordinate and work with the team to solve stamping operation problems and processes.

3. Develop metal stamping work standards. Coordinate stamping work and tooling work among team members in various areas.

4. Support new product development, quality, purchasing, planning and product management teams with technical expertise in review meetings.

5. DFM review of stampings and assemblies. Project start-up support.

job requirements :

1. Die stamping college degree or above.

2. More than 8 years of experience in metal stamping or mold.

3. Good oral and written English skills.

4. Results orientation, problem solving skills, building effective teams, action orientation, learning agility, time management, willingness to travel, work/life balance.

5. Responsible for executing project deliverables within schedule and budget, expanding existing business, winning new business, improving quality and reducing costs.
