Intel® RealSense ™ technology breaks through boundaries again with the launch of the new Intel® RealSense ™ Depth Camera Module D421. This is an entry-level stereo depth module designed to bring advanced depth sensing technology to a wider user group at a high cost-effectiveness, providing excellent value for developers, researchers and computer vision experts seeking the potential of deep imaging technology and consumer products, and expanding advanced 3D vision technology to a wider range of applications.
The Intel® RealSense ™ Depth Camera module is suitable for indoor and outdoor environments and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to 35°C. It provides a depth field of view of 75°x50°, supports a depth resolution of up to 1280x800, and can capture depth images at a maximum of 60 frames per second. The module has a minimum depth detection distance of 20 cm, is connected via a USB-C interface, and is equipped with an 850nm projector and an infrared bandpass filter. Its power consumption is typically 2 watts and its size is compact, only 95x32x10.2 mm.
