Cypress CES News Express (Part 2): Cypress Brings Superior Infotainment Experience to Connected Cars
Cypress, a leader in advanced embedded system solutions, today announced a combo solution for in-vehicle wireless connectivity that provides a robust 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® connection for vehicles, enabling multiple users to connect to their devices simultaneously and stream content independently on their devices.
The Cypress CYW89359 Combo solution is the industry's first product to use Real Simultaneous Dual Band (RSDB) technology. It integrates two complete Wi-Fi subsystems into a single chip, enabling two independent data streams to run at full throughput simultaneously. The advanced 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence engine provides optimal performance for both 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz 802.11ac Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth/Low Power Bluetooth (BLE).
Cypress is showcasing the CYW89359 Combo solution at CES, along with its complete portfolio of embedded system solutions for automotive infotainment, smart home, wearables and industrial applications . Booth address: Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 2, Meeting Room MP25365 .
