It is said on the internet that Huawei's total year-end bonus is 150 billion yuan, and after three years of employment, one can get 180,000 yuan (how come I didn't know about this much? Does my husband have a secret stash?)

The 150 billion yuan year-end bonus mentioned in this Weibo post is unlikely, it should be the total amount of Huawei employees in 2016. Recently, there have been a lot of news about Huawei's high salaries, either fresh graduates have a monthly salary of 18,000 yuan, or year-end bonuses of millions...

Whenever such news comes out, a group of friends in my circle of friends will send me screenshots of this information, because I have a husband who works at Huawei.

I have to say that compared to most industries, Huawei's salary is really high, and there are 1-2 salary increases every year. Mr. Liu has been working for the company for 3 years and his basic salary has doubled.

How high are Huawei’s salaries?

Mr. Liu graduated from Fudan University and joined Huawei during the campus recruitment. Huawei is not stingy in terms of salary, and the monthly salary of fresh graduates is more than 10,000 yuan.

The year-end bonus varies from year to year, sometimes tens of thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands after tax. According to Huawei's development momentum in recent years, the salary and year-end bonus will only increase, and should not decrease. The longer you work there, the more money you will get. Huawei's salary is not bad, it is quite competitive, but not as high as the outside world says. If you don't need to buy a house, you can live well in Shanghai, but after buying a house, life will be more or less tight.

In addition to wages, high added value.

Foreigners need to pass the score test to get Shanghai Hukou. Mr. Liu got an offer from Huawei right after graduation, and the score was enough to get Shanghai Hukou. Hukou in Shanghai is very important, otherwise you can't buy a house, your children's education, and medical care in the future will all be problems.

The advantage of working at Huawei is also reflected in buying a house. I have been paying social security and provident fund in Shanghai for less than a year, and the salary flow for buying a house is not enough for me, so Mr. Liu alone is enough.

The loan officer told us: "Don't worry about not getting your loan approved. I have never met anyone from Huawei who couldn't get their loan approved."

The landlord sold the house to us at a much lower price because Mr. Liu works at Huawei. Second-hand housing transactions are relatively complicated. Mr. Liu has a Shanghai hukou and the company has good endorsement, so there will be no problems with the process.

Regarding consumer loans, banks have people lining up at the door to ask you if you need a loan, because in the eyes of this group of people, the company is stable and the employees are well treated.

Even when renting a house, the landlords had more trust in us because Mr. Liu worked at Huawei. We hadn't met the first landlord in Shanghai for two years, but with the second landlord, we only met once after signing the contract.

In Shanghai, once you have your household registration and house purchase issues resolved, basically all other issues are no longer a problem. Because I work at Huawei, these two things are much easier.

A simple and fair working environment.

Their company has complete supporting facilities, including restaurants, convenience stores, bank ATMs, gyms, Starbucks, shuttle buses to and from work, etc. Although you need to spend your own money, it is much better than those of us who have to squeeze into the subway to work and either bring our own lunch or eat takeout at noon.

The relationship between their colleagues is very simple, there is no intrigue, a group of people engaged in R&D are very focused on the work. If you have any questions, you can ask them at any time.

At lunch and dinner, we discussed house buying, stocks, decoration and other issues. We had many colleagues and they gave us a lot of advice on the area we were going to buy a house in.

Our decoration masters were all recommended by his colleagues, because they had decorated their colleagues' and parents' houses and were very serious and reliable in their work.

In Huawei, there is basically no such thing as flattery to get promoted. It's all about hard work. As long as you have the ability, you don't need to play a lot of fancy tricks. Although the brain is tired, the heart is not tired.

Compared to other companies, Huawei is generous with money and opportunities, but it is very particular about one thing: time. What does high income mean?

If you work on Saturday at the end of the month, you will automatically forfeit your annual leave.

They work normally on Saturday at the end of every month, so they work 12 days a year in 12 months. Of course, the company pays double salary for working on this day, which is an extra month's salary.

After they join the company, they will sign a struggler agreement and automatically give up their annual leave. Many friends can take more than 10 days of annual leave a year in foreign companies, but they don’t have a single day off except for normal holidays.

Mr. Liu can only go out with me during the National Day holiday. During normal holidays, he is reluctant to take three days off from work and he will work overtime for at least one day.

I often tease him: "Your wife is Huawei, not me."

Overtime, overtime and overtime.

We were complained about because we got off work late. Mr. Liu had been going home after 11pm every night for a month. Every time this happened, there were taxis parked outside their company. Everyone probably knew that their company would reimburse the cost of taking a taxi home after 10pm.

My home is on the fifth floor. The lights in the corridor are voice-activated, but the sensor is not very good. Mr. Liu stamps his feet every time. He walks fast and doesn't pay attention, so he makes noises. There are children on the fourth floor, so it affects their rest.

We both kept apologizing to others and said we must be careful when we go home at night. Everyone knows that staying up late is not good, but the project is tight. They are in R&D, and the products need to be tested. If they work overtime on Saturday and put the products into the machine, they will have results on Monday. If they don't work overtime on Saturday and put them in on Monday, they can only get results on Wednesday.

If the test results are not good, there will be no time to modify them. Therefore, Mr. Liu works at least half a day every Saturday and Sunday. Such a project lasts at least 3 months every year.

Physical fitness has been declining.

After graduation, Mr. Liu gained 20 pounds and had severe hair loss. He had played football since he was a child, and his calf muscles were well-developed, and his physical fitness was very good, but now he has been assigned to be a goalkeeper and can no longer run.

Even if we don't look at these, is his physical fitness good? I have the most say, we are all adults, we all understand. I joked with him, "You must strengthen your physical exercise, after the age of 30, you can still provide high-quality sex twice a week."

I never persuade him that exercising is good for health. This is useless nonsense. I usually say: "Look at you. You will be bald in a few years and you will not be able to stay in bed. Look at me working out every day. By then I will have children, money and good shape. Don't you have any crisis?" Whenever I say this, Mr. Liu will take half a day a week to go running even if he is busy.

I have another friend named Xiaohua who works in the wireless department of Huawei. He was also a pretty boy back then, but now he has a lot of pimples on his face. He was born in the 1990s and has never been in a relationship. Recently, a friend introduced him to a girl who is three years older than him. The men in the group who have had several girlfriends teased him: "Xiaohua, I heard that women of this age are like wolves and tigers. Can you handle it?"

"Xiaohua, it's okay. We have accumulated energy for 25 years." Others echoed.

Seeing that the girl blushed when she spoke, Xiaohua said a classic sentence at this time: "The energy accumulated over 25 years has been weakened by Huawei in three years." The whole group burst into laughter instantly.

Behind high income, there must be higher efforts. If a company wants to provide higher benefits to its employees, it must develop rapidly, and development requires investment, not only money, but also energy.

This world is cruel but fair. If you want to earn more and let your family live a better life, you must pay more. This kind of payment is not physical. You can't make money by brute force. You have to be diligent in thinking.

Many people tell us that young people must take care of their health. Most of us are not very busy at work, but we may waste our spare time chasing TV series or playing games. Many men may go out for a drink after get off work instead of spending time with their families.

Mr. Liu is very busy at work, which gave me a lot of inspiration. After five years of hard work, I have a lot of freedom at work, without being restricted by time and space. Therefore, I have no reason to be lazy in exercising and other aspects.

Huawei is a very large company, and Mr. Liu is only one of 180,000 of the entire company, but to me personally he is unique.

As my partner, I respect his career choice, but I still don't like Huawei's overtime culture. Now, I am also working hard. If possible, I hope my husband can change his job in the future, so that he will not be so tired, have time to exercise, and accompany the children to grow up.

Of course, if Huawei is his choice, I will respect him and support him as much as possible, if not for anything else, because he is the most important person in my life, and even if he is so busy, I can feel his love.

Sentimental words, if a person loves you and loves the family, no matter how busy he is, he will love you in his own way and let you feel it. So when a man says that he is too busy at work to have time to call, it is all nonsense.

Tencent all employees have been allocated shares, Alibaba has gone public, employees have all bought houses, Huawei's year-end bonus is several tens of thousands... When we see such news, we can't just express envy, we must recognize the efforts behind them and motivate ourselves at the same time, there is a reward only if there is effort. Of course, we can also comfort ourselves like this, although I don't make much money, but I have time to do my own things, and I am mentally balanced.

Life is like a coin, with two sides, A and B. There is no good or bad, it depends on what you want.
