The LYTSwitch™-6 family of ICs greatly simplifies the development and manufacture of offline LED drivers, especially those that require compact housings or high efficiency.
The LYTSwitch-6 architecture is revolutionary because it integrates both the primary and secondary controllers, along with sensing elements and safety-compliant feedback mechanisms, into a single IC.
Better component parameter consistency and the innovative use of the integrated communication link FluxLink enable precise control of the secondary-side synchronous rectification MOSFET and quasi-resonant switching of the primary-side integrated high-voltage MOSFET to maintain high efficiency over the entire load range.
