What is the maximum cable length supported by Mini HS+?

According to the requirements of the Type-C Association, the maximum length that Gen1 can support is 2 meters, and the maximum length that Gen2 can support is 1 meter. The length required by most customers is also within the specifications.

For lengths exceeding standard specifications, Amphenol has developed an amplifier solution that can meet the 4m length requirement by amplifying the signal.

What applications can the Mini HS+ support?

Mini HS+ can support USB 3.2 10Gbps /20Gbps transmission rate and DP Alternate mode, and can also support PD charging.

What is the difference between NETBridge+ and Ve-NET?

NETBridge+ is an automotive Ethernet connector system developed based on USCAR2 and Ethernet specifications. It features a miniaturized design and waterproof function, making it particularly suitable for space-constrained applications, as well as outdoor or harsh environments. It is designed for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and can meet the needs of autonomous driving technology for high-speed data transmission and stability.

Ve-NET is a high-speed differential connector system that complies with the USCAR2 and LV214 standards. USCAR is a widely used automotive standard in the United States, while LV214 is widely adopted in Europe, so Ve-NET can meet the different needs of these two markets. It provides a variety of sealed/unsealed configurations, suitable for automotive-grade Ethernet applications, and has different focuses from NETBridge+ in terms of size design, waterproof performance, and application areas.
